Kenya Commercial bank to expand

The Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) Group announced a 62 percent increase in pretax profit for the first quarter of 2008 and unveiled plans to open eight new branches in Uganda. KCB Group operates as one bank across the region using one computer platform which enables customers to transact their business in any branch as though it was their home branch. [Monitor]
